Like many of us Dr. Finley was watching TV this morning…

He says, “…CNN talking heads were talking about how beautifully choreographed were the female senator’s demands that their colleague Al Franken resign, one even said that although Franken was entitled to a full senate ethics review, he should resign anyway for the good of whatever…what we are seeing here is a power grab to remove all possible men from positions of power and replace them with ever angelic women.

Would you consider re-posting another blast from the past for perspective? For balance?

Yup. Here it is and we agree…and have you noticed celebrity and business men are accused they are replaced by…err, by…dare we say it… a woman. Not sure about the “angelic” part though…

Sex: The New War on Men

Gordon E. Finley, Ph.D.

It cannot have escaped anyone’s notice that on May Day (May 1, 2014), and within hours of one another, the nation and the media have been bombarded with more than a half dozen exquisitely choreographed and coordinated reports demanding action based on claims of skyrocketing sexual assaults occurring on campus and on the battlefield.

But are these claims plausible?  I argue not.

Singly, or in combination, all of these claims suffer from one or more of the following five fatal flaws.

  1. Sexual allegations made by females are not taken as allegations but rather as “settled fact.”  These claims do not even consider the possibility that women might lie about any manner of things sexual and there is no statistical correction for false sexual allegations.
  2. Women commit sexual assaults on men but female sexual perpetrators only rarely are prosecuted and male reports of abuse by female sexual predators only rarely are believed.
  3. In order to “cook” the rapidly rising numbers needed for political effect, the Obama Administration has demanded that all investigations lower the standard of proof required for conviction or expulsion from “clear and convincing” evidence to a “preponderance” of evidence, which basically is a coin toss.
  4. In order to falsely boost the rapidly rising numbers needed for political effect, the Obama Administration has moved the goal posts by expanding the definition of “sexual assault” to activities and circumstances most citizens would not even remotely consider to be rape.  The former definition of forcible rape has morphed into anything sexual without “consent” and with the determination of “consent” left entirely up to the woman, even to be determined on the morning after.
  5. Forcible rape is ranked second only to murder as a serious crime.  Yet, Obama and the Progressives want to remove the investigation and prosecution of sexual crimes from the venues of the police and the courts and rather transfer these responsibilities to unqualified but ideologically sympathetic administrative units in universities and the military where the conclusion is foregone.  Under Obama and the Progressives, men are stripped of all due process and cross-examination rights that they normally would be guaranteed in a court of law. Truly innocent men have no way to prove their innocence.

Finally: Men — don’t drink and have sex.  A core principle of the Obama Administration’s New World Order is this: If alcohol crosses anyone’s lips, the male automatically is guilty of sexual assault and the female automatically is an innocent victim. With the consumption of any amount of alcohol, consensual sex does not exist.

The overwhelming onslaught of exquisitely choreographed and coordinated claims suggests that Obama and the Progressives are launching a War on Men to get the votes of women and advance their political base.  This War clearly is designed to create not only “hostile work environments” but “dangerous work environments” for men on campus and in the military.  This War further appears to be designed to eliminate men from the institutions to which they have striven and attained in the past and rapidly to make these coveted, prestigious and high paying positions open only to the political base of Obama and the Progressives.

Will Congress and the nation succumb to this loss of due process for men?

One hopes not.  In my view, the words engraved above the entrance to the United States Supreme Court should prevail and apply equally to the sexual lives of both men and women:  “Equal Justice Under Law.”

NCFM NOTE: The pogrom on American men, especially white men, is directly related to our educational systems which have been corrupted by anti-male administrators, teachers and textbook publishers. So bad is the situation that many of those in related jobs came from an educational system already steeped in misandry. Hence, they do not question but rather reinforce notions hostile to men and fundamental Constitutional protections, like due process. Simply put, they are believers. No longer are we a nation of innocent until proven guilty. We are indentured to guilty even after proven innocent.

In The Hill opinion piece A professor’s call to shut down our nation’s universities  Professor Jason D. Hill wrote, “We are witnessing a generation that will not tolerate other perspectives, students who will not hear opposing ideologies,” the professor wrote. “Rejecting canonical texts and their alleged white supremacist authors is related to advancing socialism. Both appeal to a politics of victimology that purportedly only an emergent brand of post-colonial Marxism could solve. Identity politics, victimology and multiculturalism have reached such astronomical heights in U.S. universities that trigger warnings are issued for students who feel oppressed and traumatized because they have to read the writings of living or dead white men.”

In response, NCFM Adviser Gordon E. Finley offered the following analysis/opinion in a companion article from The Washington Times:

Save our universities

By THE WASHINGTON TIMES – – Thursday, July 26, 2018

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

The core question addressed by “DePaul professor slams liberal colleges as ‘gravest internal threat to this country’” (Web, July 25) is this: Can America’s colleges and universities be redeemed from identity politics, victimology and the campus social-justice warriors? Professor Jason Hill’s answer is no and his case is spot-on.

So, what do we do to save civil discourse and civic behavior on campus and beyond?

The practical solutions are simple and straightforward: for public colleges and universities, cut all federal funding both for the institutions and for student loans. For private colleges and universities, ask donors to look into their hearts and minds and ask: Is what I see really what I want to fund?

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Irrespective of his personal conduct, Bill O’Reilly’s firing reflects the triumph of political correctness and the unfettered power of allegations of sexual misconduct to eliminate straight white males from positions of power and influence (“The high price of Fox hunting,” Web, April 20). To Wesley Pruden’s insightful analysis, I would add “diversity” as a potent part of the progressive left’s arsenal to deny educational opportunities and employment to straight white males and move them to the margins of society while simultaneously privileging all who fall under the “diversity” umbrella.

The only upside to all this is that the “deplorables” marginalized by the progressive left somehow became mobilized and engaged in the political process in search for solutions that serve their best interests rather than the best interests of the identity- and gender- politics political base.

To survive and thrive, straight white males must fight the false narrative of “white male privilege” with current and accurate data in the areas of education, employment, health, addiction and suicide. The era of getting your way by calling individuals unattractive names and using mob rule do not belong in a democracy and should come to an end.

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

A critical question for today’s voters is this: Can any man be nominated or recommended for any high position, public or private, without a flurry of false accusations of sexual misconduct from feminists/progressive office-holders or -seekers? Such accusers are bent on eliminating men from all valued positions in society and replacing them with women (“Brett Kavanaugh denies new sexual assault accusation from Deborah Ramirez,” Web, Sept. 23).

This is not idle speculation, as anyone can see from the vile treatment afforded the current nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court, Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

The #MeToo movement began with noteworthy and socially valued motivations, but today has deteriorated into nothing but arrant political false accusations designed to ruin the lives and livelihoods of men. No one should ever just “believe the survivor” without clear and powerful supporting evidence that would stand up in court under cross-examination and with full due process.

In my view, the only solution is for all men and all women who love men to bullet vote against those who support the #MeToo movement.

Intellect

NCFM NOTE: How is this related to men’s human rights? First published at Metropolis.Cafe November 4, 2019.

Save America’s Intellect

With all the trash-talk oozing up everywhere from the slime, it is time to ask: how is America doing intellectually? At the very top of our nation’s political pyramid we have leaders who don’t read and can’t do basic math. What is needed, of course, is exactly the opposite. We need leaders who can think critically, read comprehensively, know history, speak and write eloquently, decide decisively and whose numbers make sense.

The future of our issue requires raw genetic aptitude nurtured by intellectually stimulating and educationally enriching environments. Ethically, we can’t modify raw genetic aptitude but ethically we can do something about the quality of our children’s intellectual, social and educational environments. As a society, we must come to re-value intellect and the life of the mind over identity and social justice ideology — as we have throughout our history.

Face reality. Look around you. Take action.

America arose from a physical wilderness. Today America must arise from an intellectual wilderness.
